Welcome to another episode of Headfirst: A Concussion Podcast. Today, we are privileged to host Dr. Stephanie Adams, an Honorary Fellow in Sports and Brain Health at the University of Edinburgh. Dr. Adams holds a Master’s degree in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology and a PhD in concussion education. Dr Adams is also a member of the Scottish Government's Concussion Advisory Group and the founder and director of ConcussEd. In this episode, Dr. Adams share’s valuable insights from her personal experiences with concussion in equestrian sports and rugby, discuss strategies for communicating concussion information to athletes, parents, coaches, students and more.
